This file is intended simply to be informative. It is a first draft so
beware.. :) GameNet is a QWK and FTN network but this file contains info
for FTN nodes to help them with their setup.

If you find any errors or omissions please let me know so I can update this
file. My contact info is listed at the bottom of this file.

Joining GameNet
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Joining GameNet is simple. Fill out the GameNet.app and send it to me using
the contact info at the bottom of this file. The GameNet.app contains info
that I need to enter at the hub to setup your node.

I will reply to you with your node number once I've updated the hub with your
nodes info. Then you can setup your areas accordingly.

The above list of message areas are also listed in gamenet.na. You can use
that list to import the areas into your BBS or use it as a list of available
areas. If you import the list of areas you will also need to attach your node
number to the areas and add the hub (32:1/10) to your exports so localy posted
messages on your BBS will be sent to the hub and on to other connected BBSs.

On Synchronet BBSs you'll need to setup the areas in your areas.bbs as well.

File Areas
-=-=-=-=-=

There are also two file areas in GameNet at present. More may follow in time
if there is interest.

GN_INFO GameNet info packs
GN_LIST GameNet nodelists

New Info Packs and nodelists are sent out in those areas.

There is no automated Filefix ATM but if you would like to receive those files
when they are hatched just let me know and I will add your node to the exports
list.
